International
Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States
The African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP) was formed by the Georgetown Agreement of 1975. It is an agreement between 79 nations that binds them to the European Union (EU) for the purpose of economic development as well as peace and stability. The ACP is now the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States.
Association of businesses and business leaders committed to private sector-led economic growth and social development
Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE)
CIPE is a Washington-based organization that promotes democratic consolidation, private enterprise and market-oriented economic reform around the globe. The Forum on Economic Freedom is the online information service of CIPE.
Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA)
Organization of independent states committed to "economic prosperity through regional integration."
Corporate Council on Africa (CCA)
U.S. business association advocating for policies and activities that will enhance business relations between the United States and Africa.
European Business Council for Africa and the Mediterranean (EBCAM)
EBCAM represents 4,000 European Union firms engaged in economic activity in the African continent and covers the complete range of commerce and industry, including agriculture, mining, transport, banking, and the service sectors.
International Chamber of Commerce
Members from 63 national committees and over 7000 member companies and associations from over 130 countries throughout the world present ICC views to their governments and coordinate with their membership to address the concerns of the business community.
Sahel and West Africa Club (OECD) External
The Club facilitates links between North and South and between public and private sectors.
Southern African Development Community (SADC) Official website of the Southern African Development Community.
U.S. Council for International Business
"The United States Council for International Business advances the global interests of American business both at home and abroad. It is the American affiliate of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Business and Industry Advisory Committee (BIAC) to the OECD, and the International Organisation of Employers (IOE). As such, it officially represents U.S. business positions both in the main intergovernmental bodies and vis-á-vis foreign business communities and their governments."
